Simon, thanks so much for posting that. I spent over an hour trying to figure out why my webcam wasn't working, before I read your post. This kind of move by Logitech just makes people upset at them. They have good products, but this kind of tactic (not providing driver to use camera on Windows Vista) makes me think I'll buy an integrated camera next time or from some other company.

Same as John Lee.

Cant get this to work on visa 64 bit neither.

When I give the Winnew path for the updated driver I still get the message that Windows could not find a driver.

Any one else know a solution???

Superb! I bought this a while ago and assumed that the Vista driver would come out, how wrong can you be! Thanks for a simple solution (didn't even have to do the search for driver!). 10 out of 10!!!!!

Brilliant!! Thanx for this fix! The steps was easy to follow and the camera works. Hasn't been used before so this exercise of 20 min saved me about 100€...:-)

Fantastic! I got this workaround to work with Windows 7 Home Premium too. Wonderful! The webcam works nicely now (I tested it with Skype call testing service, etc.) Being forced to buy a new one by Logitech's lack of support for their products (and an upmarket one at the time at that!) would be sheer waste. It does not make me think well of Logitech.
